No pleasure philosophy, no sensuality, no place nor power, no material success can for a moment give such inner satisfaction as the sense of living for good purposes, for maintenance of integrity, for the preservation of self-approval.
This is my maxim, my philosophy my way of life. no matter the ups and down in life the many challenges that keep us down our purpose for this life and the nether will prevail.Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong.
There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage. that courage comes from within. from your soul, your being ,your humanity.
Are you ready to do something that not only redefines history but makes history,a gesture that would add a bright smile on the face of the earth and kill a sad face.
( I KNOW YOU ARE THERE)
Don't wait for something big to occur. Start where you are, with what you have, and that will always lead you into something greater. BE THE CHANGE YOU WOULD WANT TO SEE.
Once you are ready for that, you will be ready for the world

THE OTHER SIDE by EDDIE OMBAGI
Another day has gone,
A day in the ghetto,
On an empty stomach,
With hopes of a better
Tomorrow,
I climb to my rusty, creaky bed.
I remind myself
I have to repair the puncture
On my cycle before i go to work.
And suddenly,
The weight of the world above me,
And pieces of cartons underneath,
I fall asleep.
My secretary has just called me,
On my expensive blackberry phone
To inform me that the businessmen from Bahamas
Have just arrived in town.
I instruct my driver to prepare my
newest collection,
The Lexus black 3900 ,
To take me to work.
I have to make an impression.
I kiss my wife goodbye,
She is travelling to Paris
for a shopping trip.
I remind her not to forget my business suits,
that were flown to Madrid, Spain for dry cleaning,
And to contact my tailor in Versace, Italy
For my silk shirts and socks.
I drive through town,
Damn!
These matatu drivers and their traffic jams.
I will tell the minister to create a route for these drivers,
To save the time of hardworking Kenyans -
Us.
When we meet at the local golf club at the weekend.
He owes me a round.
I sit at my desk and order coffee.
I admire the photos of my two sons,
Who are in the states on holiday.
Suddenly,
I hear a loud sharp shattering scream!
My neighbor's son has just been mugged,
At his doorstep.
I remember the puncture and jump out of bed.
It was just a dream,

MY DREAM by EDDIE OMBAGI.
As i sit next to my window,
Gazing at the sky
The cool breeze setting in,
I cant help but wonder!
The reason why,
Why the urge is so strong,
So strong that it blinds with fury.
The spark in my heart
Thats ever ablaze.
And that bit of magic
That helps me get,
Through the days,
That feeling of endless
Expectations
Desire
Dreams
and
Hope.
And as the rain pounds softly,
I remind myself.
Can my urge,
My desire.
Be satisfied,
Can it be dissolved
In the pool of expectations.
To fulfill my dream.
My lifelong dream.
