HUMAN DIGNITY
I am a person; I can think, choose and act deliberately. Meaning am a free person. Freedom is not doing it my way; but the freedom to do the right thing, the right way for the right reasons. The nature of human freedom is one that should be based on a pretext known as the “culture of life” a culture, which is integral to every human development and also serving as a benchmark that promotes the sanity and dignity of every person, both born and the unborn.
Freedom in the real sense is the freedom from all social structures that foster economic injustices, political oppression, and the breaking down of human rights. Our dignity does not come from the “freedom” to do whatever we want. Rather, our dignity does come when we seek to do the right thing at the right time, for the right reason. Human freedom is one that should work so that no one is deprived of his or her basic human dignity.
This ensures the recognition of the right of every man and woman to human and civil culture in harmony with the dignity of the human person, without distinction of race, sex, nation, religion, or moreover, social circumstances.
